Well, another month has passed and it’s time to post a new episode of the Zero Art Radio Podcast. The dog days of summer are upon us and I’m now to the point that I wish autumn would show it’s face. How about some songs that seem very transitional to me? This episode features new music from Yo La Tengo, Ian Sefchick’s new project entitled Ghost Baby, another Nashville area based band The Nobility, a post-rock (whatever that means) band from Denmark that tears ass, Shelflife and a new tune from Polvo…yes, Polvo! Zero Art Radio Podcast – Episode #5

It’s taken a while to get this new Zero Art Radio podcast up as a lot of things have come up over the last month or so. It is very much true that these will keep coming, though. This episode features new music from Harold Froland’s (former Jaga Jazzist guitar player) new project called Black Feather, Chad VanGaalen’s new project entitled Black Mold, a Nashville-based band Hotpipes, a band that really reminds me of Satisfact or Unwound (Manikin) and a classic tune from the Floyd. Zero Art Radio Podcast – Episode #3

In this installment of the Zero Art Podcast, I’ve throw a couple of older songs into the mix. One from XTC and one from Big Star, both of which have been incredible influences on me as a musician. The other tracks come from Nashville’s The Bubblegum Complex, Seattle’s Damien Jurado, and San Francisco’s Deerhoof.

Each one of these artists/bands deliver on many levels. The tracklist for episode 3 is:

Zero Art Radio Podcast – Episode #1

As promised, I’ve put together the first episode of the Zero Art Radio Podcast. There is a lot of music that I’ve come across during the last few months after we shut down the old Zero Art Radio. Hopefully I will have some time to compile some more podcasts as time presents itself. The format for the podcast will be much like the format of the old Zero Art Radio. There will be a mix of old and new, loud and quiet, noisey and poppy, experimental and controlled.

Remember artists, please keep sending your records to us here at Zero Art Radio, because I do listen to every single one of them and if it’s a quality record and noticeable care has fully been applied, it will probably show up here.
